SeamDroid updates itself
No need to watch for new versions: once a day SeamDroid checks the site and offers the update. What changed is on the What's new page.
On the computer
- Windows: SeamDroid shows a notification about the new version and installs it by itself, without extra windows.
- Linux: Settings → Updates shows whether there's a new version; a button installs it with the system's package manager — the system asks for your password once.
- Before installing, SeamDroid checks that the file arrived whole and wasn't tampered with.
On the phone
In full mode (ADB) the computer updates the SeamDroid app on the phone by itself. In base mode install the fresh version by hand: download the APK on the phone and open it.
