Changelog
What's new
Version 0.1.0 is the current one. SeamDroid updates itself: once a day it checks the site and offers the new version.
- SyncDroid is now SeamDroid, with a new address: seamdroid.nicko.space. Settings and your subscription carry over. Links to the old address still work. On the phone, the app under the new name replaces the old one; you may need to pair the phone again.
- Buy a subscription right on the site: “Buy” gives you an order code, you pay through CloudTips, and the key shows up on the site a minute or two later.
- Webcam: 480p, 720p or 1080p, 16:9 or 4:3, 15, 30 or 60 fps, rotate and mirror. Settings apply right away; “Test camera” shows the picture.
- Webcam on Windows 11, and the phone's microphone through VB‑Audio Virtual Cable, installed in one click.
- Find phone: the phone rings at full volume, even in silent mode.
- English interface in the computer and phone apps — from the system language or the settings.
- The mouse wheel scrolls like a finger swipe — TikTok and Reels feeds included.
- Windows: the tray lists connected phones, each with its own screen and sound.
- Fixed-size settings windows, faster reconnects, reopening windows on Linux fixed.
- Phone as a webcam on Linux, with the phone's microphone.
- Updates from the site: SeamDroid checks for a new version once a day and installs it with one button.
- Rotate the phone's screen from the mirror window.
- Windows: a window per phone, a title bar in the app's own style.
- Base mode without developer options: the phone app and a QR code are all it takes. Clipboard, files both ways and notifications run over SeamDroid's own encrypted connection.
- A Diagnostics page with buttons that fix what it finds.
- Windows: phone sound over Bluetooth — the computer as a speaker.
- A new look for the apps, matching the site.
- Subscription: a free version with capped mirroring quality; notifications and calls with a subscription.
- Wireless debugging pairing with the six-digit code, no QR needed.
- The website with downloads and a setup guide.
- SeamDroid for Windows 10 and 11, with an installer.
- Phone audio on the computer.
- Calls: incoming calls on the computer and talking through its headset over Bluetooth (Linux).
- The first version, for Linux: the phone's screen in a window with mouse and keyboard control, several phones, a shared clipboard, notifications with SMS replies, the tray menu and settings. Packages for Arch Linux and Fedora.
